Connection: People and Places I Love
May 18–Jun 20, 2008
Have you ever had a connection to a particular place or been captivated in the presence of a person? Kelly Spiegel strives to evoke the emotion of a particular place in her landscapes and capture the being of the person she is painting. Her figurative style points to our profound connection to the natural world and to other people . . . the wonder that is in our daily lives, if we simply notice it.

Kelly holds a MS in Psychology and has 15 years experience as an artist with instruction from the Art Institute of Chicago and the Indianapolis Art Center. She maintains a studio in Indianapolis and teaches art at the Indiana School for the Blind.

Opening Reception: Sun, May 18, 2–4 pm
